Stepping away from photography professionally was a hard, but also freeing decision. After I made that decision last fall, what followed was a breakup with my camera. I was burned out. The desire to be creative and the motivation to shoot just wasn’t there. I needed a break. Life got busy and months went by without a single shot.
Then the itch came back. I started seeing moments that needed to be documented. I started seeing the light again. It started on the night of the Daddy-daughter Dance. My two beautiful girls and their amazing daddy had a date! Not just any date. A buy-a-new-dress, get gussied up, dance the night away kind-of date. This had to be captured. I am so thankful for these images and that we can look back on this precious season of life. These pivotal memories can be looked back on and anyone can see the love in their daddy’s eyes. I am so proud of these girls and so thankful for their daddy who loves them more than life!
